When Israel had 80 hours left to start the war, the division of labor made by the Israeli people was enough to show a war preparation that the world had never seen. In May 1987, Israel had an army of fifty thousand to eighty thousand. During the entire campaign, however, it was confirmed that two hundred and sixty-four thousand troops could be deployed. After each 30 months of service in the Israeli military, they become reservists.
This is until they reach 35 years of age. The officers who are assigned to the reserve are trained in military training for thirty-two or fifty-eight days a year. As Israel is an example of a democratic country in the world, its women are quickly called up for military service when necessary. According to Israeli law, a woman must serve 18 months in the military.
